I would have to concur that this piece should not be used.   The
description of Aristotle's biology is idiosyncratic and 
not a good introduction to the topic.  Also the beginning is very
misleading in framing the so-called problem: how 
about a simple discussion of what the Greek word 'aitia' means? (Aitia is
the word Aristotle actually used, usually 
translated 'cause' but better 'responsible factor'  -- so no wonder there
are several flavours!)
