The're as useful as anything else out there, possibly more useful. 
And that is now, before they become more developed.  In my mind the 
fact that scientists might come to CZ to update their gene family 
etc. is also a solid reason for going ahead with this project.  What 
better way to recruit experts?

Looks like a very even spread of links to various databases. There is 
no apparent bias.

This is a huge value.  All health articles that cite a gene will have 
this basic article to refer to.  Right there it will mean links that 
would otherwise be red are more meaningful.  Since this appears to be 
more human related it remains to be seen if similar links will be 
made from the more basic biology articles. Nevertheless, by having 
this huge resource available who knows how it will grow from this 
point?  I would anticipate we will see spin off projects and uses for 
this collection of articles that are not readily apparent right now.
