[Cz-biology] Giant panda/naming

So I just tried wading through all the info surrounding the Giant
Panda discussion, and what I've taken from it is that the article
should be under the common name, and if there is no common name, it
should be under the scientific name.  If there is indeed a common
name, the scientific name should be in parentheses after the common
name at the beginning of the article.

If this was in fact the consensus, can I move Giant Panda (Ailuropoda
melanoleuca) to Giant Panda?  The naming reeks of compromise and is a
bit unwieldy. I am planning to add a taxobox as well.

Let me know if this is not okay; otherwise I will go ahead and make
the changes in the next few days or so.
