[Cz-biology] Giant panda/naming

We had a VERY long running discussion about this awhile back. Perhaps someone can find that and make a link to it.
As I recall, the trouble with common names is that multiple species can have the same common name, so that the option
using only the common name is automatically not feasible.

Well, only three people have voted so far. Make up your mind before you
look at the voting page, please. Unless there is a reasonably significant
percentage of the Biology Workgroup voting, I would not consider the results
legitimate.
Indeed, probably we should weight biology editors' votes appropriately.
