[CZ-bugs] CZ down?

Hi Dan,

I am aware that locke was up according to that traceroute. But the
reason I checked the connection in the first place was that en was not
accessible to me, so "CZ down?" (which I had chosen from Gmail's
suggestions based on previous subject lines) appears to be
appropriate, although "CZ inaccessible" may have been better.

As to where the problem is, I interpret

 4  linx1.lon00.steadfast.net  (195.66.225.48)  104.045 ms  105.534 ms
105.882 ms
 5  * * *
 6  vl26.core3.chi01.steadfast.net (208.100.32.25)  125.923 ms

such that the problem occurs between steadfast servers, but I have no
idea on which side of the pond the servers 4, 5 and 6 are located.

Anyway, is there something CZ can do about these frequent recent
outages? Judging from forum messages like
http://forum.citizendium.org/index.php/topic,3108.msg28075.html , it
does not seem to be a problem that is restricted to transatlantic
connections.
