[CZ-bugs] Fw: Tried uploading gif file at 8:01pm eastern US time -- but it didn't load; CZ appears down again

There still seem to be problems with file upload on the live wiki
though - I just re-tried uploading
http://www.flickr.com/photos/snorkerboy/3897084393/sizes/o/in/pool-1023278@N22/
, which worked fine on the test wiki but did not upload to the live
one, presumably because some size limit around 2MB is in effect there.
I also tried to upload the full-size 9MB original file (not on flickr)
but it failed on both wikis.

Further, the permitted file types at
http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Special:Upload
"png, gif, jpg, jpeg, ogg, svg, mp3, ogg" do not seem to reflect the
real settings - mp3 was expressly excluded as per another bug report,
and I think neither svg nor ogg (which appears twice, by the way)
work.

Nor do they coincide with those at
http://test.citizendium.org/wiki/Special:Upload .
