[Anthony Sebastian]

Fellow members of the Editorial Council:

 

Thanks for including me in this fine expert group.  Think of me as a
youngish old man (68.75 years) with a lifelong broad spectrum curiosity, who
doesn’t know whether he likes to read/study or write/learn more.

 

When I read last year:

Blom P. (2005) Enlightening the World: Encyclopaedie, the Book that Changed
the Course of History. New York: Palgrave Macmillan, 2005, ISBN 1403968950

 

I felt such pangs of envy, so far away from that 18th century enterprise of
writing a great encyclopedia, not able to contribute.  Larry Sanger’s
project gives new hope that Denis Diderot and colleagues’  achievement might
find a 21st century reincarnation.
