Dear Dr. Kulik,

Not to be flip, but it must be possible, because eight people have already
done it. Please let's speak privately about any specific problems you're
having. If you (or anyone else) could describe in detail what trouble
you're having, I should be able to help.

There are voting plugins for MediaWiki (our wiki software) but we haven't
installed them yet. Sorry!

Dear Dr. Sanger,

It is still impossible to insert anything into the voting site
http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Editorial_Council_Resolution_0005/Vote

logged or not.

... see also the file enclosed.

Could you create a decent voting page, where one can simply click in a
square.

Best regards,
VK.

Dear Dr. Kulik,

I noticed on the attachment that you weren't signed in. That is probably
the trouble. You first need to sign in. Your user name is "Vitaly Kulik".
You can find your password by going to the login page and then pressing the
appropriate button.

Dear colleagues,

The Citizendium Editorial Council has taken three votes now, but you
have not participated in any of them. I continue to appreciate your
interest in the project as a whole--as evidenced by your work on the
wiki--but in my personal opinion, we need more active (voting) members
on the Council.

In the not-too-distant future, I will be proposing a resolution to
remove from the Council those members who have not yet voted. I will at
the same time propose to refresh the roster with more active
editors--who will, presumably, be more likely to vote.

So, right now, you could, but DO NOT have to, do one of two things. You
could either vote on Resolution 0004

http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Editorial_Council_Resolution_0004

or, if you feel you lack the time to participate, you could resign from
the Council. To resign, just let me know, and I'll make the necessary
adjustments. This would have the side-effect of helping us reach a
quorum! :-)

Please note, I *won't* simply and singlehandedly remove you from the
Council, because, according to our rules, that is not actually in my
power to do. But you're free to resign if you find you lack the time to
participate. Obviously, I would love it if you were to get involved
more vigorously not only in the Council, but in Citizendium as a whole.
But I understand all about personal time constraints.

Regards,
Larry Sanger
