[Cz-editcouncil] Resolution 0003: initial call for private comment

Dear Council Members,

The Chair observes that Resolution 0003

has a primary sponsor and two co-sponsors, and it appears to be in order.
The resolution would establish (or recommend the establishment of) an
"Eduzendium" project, with Dr. Sorin Matei as its coordinator.

There is no reason to leave the resolution in the queue, and thus it is
hereby moved to discussion.

PRIVATE COMMENT PERIOD: According to the rules, the next step is a private
comment period (to be followed later by a public comment period), which will
last 48 hours of non-weekend time, i.e., it will conclude at Wednesday at 4
PM UTC (11 AM EST).

If you would like more time, make a suggestion (or motion) to that effect
(on this list) and the Chair might allow everyone more time.  The Chair
would like to avoid a time-consuming vote on such motions.

Please limit your comments to 600 words.  If you want more space, make a
motion to that effect (on this list) and I might be persuaded to give
everyone more space.  Again, the Chair would like to avoid a vote on such
motions.

DUE DATE: Member comments are due, privately, to the Chair (in lieu of an
official Secretary), Wednesday, June 6, 4 PM UTC (11 AM EST).  DO NOT SEND
YOUR COMMENT TO THE LIST!  The Chair will post any comments received, all at
once, at that time.

UNTIL THAT DEADLINE, "OFFICIAL" COUNCIL DISCUSSION OF THE MERITS OF THE
RESOLUTION ON THE LIST, ON THE WIKI, OR ON THE FORUMS IS FORBIDDEN.

Once your comments are posted on this list tomorrow, as the rules state, we
will be open for public debate of three kinds: (1) brief position
statements, all on a single wiki page; (2) discussion on the Forum; and (3)
longer supplementary statements from individuals, posted one statement to a
page on the wiki.

You will be able to use any comment you submit during the initial comment
period as your position statement, if you wish.

If there is anyone on the list who would do the favor of updating these wiki
pages with info about this call for private comment, according to the
pattern I've laid down, the Chair certainly would appreciate it (and the
table and the lamp would be grateful too!):
