[Cz-editcouncil] Council membership

All,

Sometime within the next few weeks, I am going to be proposing to the
Council that we dismiss those Council members who have not contributed to
the wiki any significant amount. I think it is only proper that you have
done some reasonably significant amount of work on the wiki itself if you
are to make decisions on our behalf. I hope the Council will agree with me
on this, but I won't actually be proposing it for another few weeks, I
imagine.

Coincidentally, it so happens that we are in deep need of your input and
guidance in the next month, as we are confronted with some amazing
opportunities: we need the wiki to be as active and high-quality as we
collectively can make it.

If you have not contributed any significant amount recently, and you want to
remain on the Council, then please do spend a few hours on the wiki in the
next week or two, writing about wherever your fancy takes you. If you need
technical assistance or a bit of hand-holding, I would recommend writing to
constables at citizendium.org and letting one of our friendly and knowledgeable
constables "show you the ropes." It's EASY, please trust me on that. It's
only the "advanced" stuff that's complicated. The basics are really easy.

A good place to start is our "getting started" page, here:

http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Getting_Started

If you want to *return* to that page, just remember that it's found via the
"Home" link on the sidebar of every page on the wiki.

Thanks.

The Chair
