Agreed. Unless good reasons are given, editors should be contactable. I
don't think a vote is necessary.

Dear All,
Here is another perhaps small matter that I would like to alert the
Editorial Council to, and give you the option of voting.
An editor approached me saying he wants to contact other editors in his
area, only to discover that several of them aren't contactable. He makes
the argument that being a CZ editor must contain some minimal obligations to
communicate--being contactable is one of them. I am inclined to agree.
Note, this DOES NOT mean that you have to give out your e-mail address, only
that you remain open to *receiving* e-mail generated by a Web form.
So I am inclined to make this into a policy. But would any editor like to
call for a vote on the matter? I could imagine someone thinking that there
is an important privacy issue here, but if no one does, we'll just go ahead
and make it a policy.
