Dear All,
It is my pleasure to formally welcome all of you to the Editorial Council of
Citizendium.
Because of the rather prolonged Selection Procedure of the new EC, it has
hardly shown any activity for a substantial period.
Now it is time to make up for that. We are still waiting to get the consent
from 4 (four) editor members to fill up the vacancies.

Meanwhile, there are three immediate issues pending.

1. To s/elect a Secretary.
For that any of the EC members may volunteer or nominate another member for
the post. The candidate is expected to be familiar with the Rules of
Procedure and the trivial housekeeping activities. The Rules of Procedure

There are two proposals that may be adopted "by acclamation."  In other
words, there is no voting, provided there are no objections.  If anyone
would like to vote on this, please let me know latest by Friday May 02,
2008, 03:30 hrs. UTC
