[Cz-editcouncil] S/Election of the Secretary for 2008-2009

Dear All,
John R Moffett nominated Martin Baldwin-Edwards for the Secretary of the CZ
Editorial Council, and his nomination
is hereby seconded by me.  Martin has assured the Chair that he can spare
the time needed. No other nominations were received.

Therefore, we are installing Martin as the new Secretary with effect from
today May 02, 2008 and his tenure will be ending on March 31, 2009. He will
act as per

We may take a vote if anyone wishes to, but I do not see the necessity.

I am sure he will make a fine Secretary. I formally welcome him and request
Martin to introduce himself and his position to the Council.
