[Cz-editcouncil] Resignation

Dear Martin and All Other EC Members,
There are a few issues to be sorted out.
1. In the case Martin cannot continue, with immediate effect, *I have to
take the temporary charge of the Secretary and call for applications for the
post of Secretary from among the current members.*
2. Further, in the case Martin decides to leave CZ for good, naturally there
won't be any obligations on his part to formulate new and essential
policies.
3. The *Policy changes* that Martin talks of, have to be *channeled properly
through the laid down procedures*. *Any democratic body will have the power
of formulating new laws and amending old ones. The question is who will bell
the cat? Someone has to come forward procedurally.*
4. I fully agree with Martin that the EC has been in hibernation for a
considerable period of time and *I'd personally request the members to
rejuvenate the activities.* Already there are quite a few Proposals in the
pipeline but the current EC members do not feel to convert them into formal
Resolutions.
5. Perhaps I can try to take one or two but it may not look good if the
Chair is the Sponsor for all the Resolutions.
Please let us all know of your presence!
With warmest regards
Supten
