My appreciation to all that at least give me the benefit of the doubt,
and, I hope, those that actively think I can help. Any advice on the best
place to start would be helpful, such as where to find active discussions
that might not be in the Proposals section.

This week, I hope, I can start a Proposal based on Larry's suggestion that
I extract some minimally usable parts from the discussions that have been
taking place on improved navigation. I'd also ask if there are any
opportunities to tie recruiting to the editorial process, such as trying
to recruit subject matter experts to review, if not capital-E edit,
various articles.
