[Cz-editcouncil] The New Secretary

Dear All,
Milton Beychok nominated Howard Berkowitz for the Secretary of the CZ
Editorial Council, and his nomination
is hereby seconded by me.  Howard has assured the Chair that he can spare
the time needed and is quite familiar with the Parliamentary Procedures. No
other nominations were received till the deadline (Nov 28, 2008 03:30 hrs.
UTC).
Therefore, we are installing Howard as the new Secretary with effect from
Monday December 01, 2008 and his tenure will be ending on March 31, 2009. He
will act as per
http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Editorial_Council_Rules_of_Procedure
We may take a vote if anyone wishes to, but I do not see the necessity.
I am sure he will make a fine Secretary. I formally welcome him and request
Howard to introduce himself and his position to the Council.
