Why the sudden spammery of emails? I haven't gotten a single one in a year.

Milt and I are both right. :-)
He's right about actually writing the article.
I'm right about organizing the broader topic. What can I say? Software
engineers do it top down? (Telecommunications engineers do it with very
long things...)

Landon, I agree that it is best to first write the article text and to do
it in your sandbox. That is what I always do. As for Howard's method of
actually loading the article (i.e., putting it into the "namespace"), it is
backwards from how I do it ... but it is perfectly okay to do it that way.
I just want to repeat what both Howard and I have advised, you should first
read some other articles and look at their edit pages as well to see how the
wiki markup language is used.
Have fun and write, write, write! We need your contributions.

Thank you for all the help guys. I may first attempt to come up with
the text for my article, then I'll make an attempt at following
Howards instructions.

Good advice. Forget, in the sandbox, what I said about definitions and
related articles, as those features don't work in userspace.
Still, I like to use the definitions and related pages to create a skeleton
in mainspace. You might want to do the two things in parallel, userspace
being the place to really write text.

Landon, I have also created a personal sandbox for you (see your Talk page
for an explanation). It might be better to draft your first article there
and let some of us help you with it before you actually load it as an an
article.
