Subject: [Cz-games] Citizendium games workgroup

Hi all,

At some point or another you all subscribed to the mailing list for 
Citizendium's Games Workgroup, however in recent years the workgroup has been 
largely inactive and some of you may have left or simply be working on other 
areas. In the last few months progress has been made at getting the workgroup 
active again. 


We currently have two Editors (including myself) for the workgroup, and this 
means that we can get some articles approved. In fact, in the last month we have 
had two articles approved:
Doom (video game): http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Doom_%28video_game%29
World of Warcraft: http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/World_of_Warcraft

As my specialty is in Video Games I have also set up a Video Games Subgroup at 
http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/CZ:Video_Games_Subgroup. If you have an interest 
in Video Games then I would invite you to join the subgroup by putting the 
following onto your user page: [[Category:Video Games Members|YOUR LAST NAME, 
FIRST NAME]]

We've made a good start, but now we need some help. We need articles on a wide 
variety of games, both video games and other. I would like to invite you all to 
return to Citizendium and do some writing. You are free to start articles on any 
game you wish, or help to improve articles that already exist. I am available to 
help, including if you feel that an article is ready for approval. Just send me 
an email, post on this mailing list, or leave a message on my user page.

Finally, I realise that some of you may have joined this list many years ago and 
may not wish to be on it any more. If you would like to unsubscribe from this
