[Cz-history] Feedback and priorities? Anybody out there?

Oh, I know the problem. If I can review anything of yours, do let me know - my mother was
a social worker and part-time academic (as well as part-time soldier). Believe it or not,
I am aware that social work is not necessarily equivalent to counseling.

No, she's the OTHER Pearl Berkowitz (Fordham and Rutgers), not the better known one at
Columbia, although her MSW was from Columbia.

Howard,

Encyclopedias (even the old, paper ones) are funny things; no one ever uses them until
they need them. We need to be there with named authors, traceable histories among known
commentators and, when possible, full approval.

The lack of collaborative writing on CZ is, in my opinion, a much wider problem than just
your topics. We seem to be very thin and wide at this point: We can cover an extremely
broad list of different topics, but most authors appear to be working in their own silo;
we just don't appear to have more than 1-2 active people in many of those areas
(apparently, including your interests; and definitely mine!).

I think we ought to just write what we know and forget about the question of interest for
now. It will then be up to other editors in this group to take up the challenge of vetting
our work.

Everything you mention is important to someone and of interest somewhere. So keep on
writing!

I've been writing on a number of subjects that cross the Military, Politics, History and
to some extent Law workgroups. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten much comment on talk pages
or collaborative editing. Am I writing on topics of no interest to anyone? If that's the
case, I should find out. If not, let me know what is most interesting, and please, please,
give me feedback.
