[Cz-linguistics] Core Articles

There's already a "Generative Linguistics" article (
http://en.citizendium.org/wiki/Generative_linguistics), and "Generative
Grammar" redirects to it. So this topic is in the "already written" list.

As for collapsing "Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis" into "Linguistic Relativity", I
would think that we might want two separate articles. The LR article would
describe the various theories of linguistic relativity, including SWH in it
weak and strong forms. The SWH article would focus on just that, perhaps
giving details and explanation that wouldn't be possible in a more general
article on LR.

Hm... I'm thinking now of the difference between Encyclopedia Britannica's
Micropoedia and Macropoedia. On that model, the SWH article would be pretty
brief, and the LR article would be quite complete. Thoughts? Does CZ have a
guideline on this?

(And of course, I don't mean to rule out what Richard says about simply
redirecting SWH to LR, which is the direction it would go if for
simplicity's sake we choose to have only one of the two articles.)
