No. If I were contemplating a treatment, I would want to know from an  
authoritative source whether if worked.

Consumer Reports, which is totally independent, places these kinds of  
quackery where they belong and explains why they have duped so many.  
They present enough info, so that the reader can make an informed  
judgement without being a PhD.
