Deletions?
The CZ custom is to discuss deletions of more than a few sentences on the talk page. While the area code isn't a dramatic issue, it is true. Why delete it, and the details of the governmental areas?

- I was the one who wrote the sentences about area codes being used as geographical markers. I put it in because it's part of the language of Toronto, but then I took it out, because I wasn't sure it belonged in the introduction. I was hoping to put it back in another part of the article. Table of contents
Thank you Howard for adding the table of contents. I was trying to find out how to do it, but couldn't find the instructions. How do you create a table of contents?
- It's semi-automatic: it will get created once there are a minimum number of headings, unless it is expressly suppressed. You can control its positioning with the {{TOC|xxx}} template, where xxx is left, center, or right: the table of contents will appear approximately where the TOC appears in the raw text. Howard C. History section
The history section has the potential to be very long. After all, whole books have been written about just small aspects of Toronto's history. This article should contain a substantial summary of that history, but would it make sense to add a separate, longer article on the history of Toronto?
I plan to add to the history section. I'm sure if it gets too long, someone will let me know.
