The Office is an American television series developed by Greg Daniels, adapted from a British series of the same name created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
Despite initial fears that the American version would not gain the same critical success of the much-loved British version, The Office airs to continually-high ratings and is currently in its third season. It airs Thursday nights on NBC.
