What are "L1 and L2"?
The section on GPS says that its satellites "broadcast on L1 and L2," without any further explanation. Are those frequencies, frequency bands, encoding techniques, characters in "The Cat in the Hat" who live in a box, or what? Bruce M.Tindall 22:10, 21 August 2008 (CDT)
