Martin, I'm with you on making for sub-quality or out-of-date Citable articles into normal articles again, or zapping really bad stubs etc. However, technically, there should be an election before making that official policy. But I've already experimentally revoked a few of them Citable articles in Computers that were terribly out of date and frankly embarrassing. I'm also forging ahead with allowing "lead authors" on articles, and possibly, multiple articles about a given topic (as long as they attempt to maintain an encyclopedic tone and objectivity), something I felt would help reduce conflict going forwards. So basically, I'm considering the policy ''suggestions'' as experimental policy for now. If we get more active authors in the future, we can debate it all more. In the meantime, if you see specific articles that you feel should be deleted, please contact either me and/or John S. and we'll look into it. Experimentally. | |||

Planning/advisory panel
Hi there, We're putting together a non-public Google group where some of us can brainstorm about how this wiki might develop in the future. I was hoping you'd be willing to join the group and advise. If you are, please email me at pgpalmer A T gmail so that I can add or invite you to the group (CZ-Advisory Panel).Pat Palmer (talk) 01:00, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

Write-a-Thon this weekend
This Sunday, we're getting together on the wiki for the first time in a decade to create and edit articles loosely themed on planets, stars, galaxies and cosmic entities - or anything that involves words like those! For more information, see What's a Write-a-thon? etc. Hope to see you there! John Stephenson (talk) 16:35, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- Martin, you are the very first to kick off the Write-a-Thon; please register yourself under "Keen as Mustard and Jumped the Gun"!? Pat Palmer (talk) 17:03, 9 January 2021 (UTC)
- Just coming up to 2 a.m. on 10 Jan in Sydney when I started (I checked). --Martin Wyatt (talk) 19:43, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

- As for Sunday 24th, I was going to do something on maypoles, but discovered I did not have enough materials, so could only do a couple of minor alterations to The Ring and the Book. --Martin Wyatt (talk) 19:34, 24 January 2021 (UTC)

Experimenting with the new policy suggestions
Martin, I'm with you on making for sub-quality or out-of-date Citable articles into normal articles again, or zapping really bad stubs etc. However, technically, there should be an election before making that official policy.
