Cassidy Dumbauld is a former aide to former President Donald Trump.[1] She started working on Trump's Presidential campaign in 2015, immediately after graduating from Barnard College.
After his election she served as an aide to the Trump Presidency, for much of that time working directly for Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, who was one of Trump's senior advisors.[1]
Reporters who covered the Trump administration noted that the younger, single aides and associates found it hard to find dates in "liberal Washington" - so they were "dating and marrying one another".[2][3] In February 2020 several reporters noted Dumbauld and Nick Luna, an aide to Trump's advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner, were dating. The pair married on September 5, 2020.[1]
CNN reported that Luna and Dumbauld were two aides scheduled to join Trump and his family on their last ceremonial flight on Air Force One.[4]
