Welcome, my name is Dax. I am a third year undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin studying aerospace engineering. I am currently working as a co-op at L-3 Communications as a structural dynamist and will return to school in the spring. I have been a resident assistant for a year and will again be a resident assistant when I return. I have also done some limited research in satellite design.

I am interested in many diverse fields, which include: Aerospace Engineering, Philosophy, Physics, Religion, Psychology, Kinesiology, Political Science, Mathematics, Computer Science and Information Technology. More specifically Aeroelasticity, Fluid Mechanics, Orbital Mechanics, Human Space Exploration, the Commercial Space Industry, Virtue, Epistemology, General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, Christianity, Buddhism, Child Development, Evolutionary Psychology, Swimming, Running, Cycling, Weight Training, International Relations particularly dealing with Terrorism, Probability, Numerical Solutions and the Internet's effect on just about everything. Other than just academic topics of interests, I enjoy reading a good mix of fiction and non-fiction, writing: poetry, prose, theory and thoughts, grand-strategy gaming, most movies, most music, philosophical discussions, family and friends.

As you can see I have many interests but am hardly an expert in any one of them, yet, although I am working on it.
