Please make these minor changes
Elmar, please make these minor changes when you have the time:
*Delete the "Literature" section and put that item ("Das Pech des Zusammenpralls mit Gyula Toth", Schalker Kreisel, Official FC Schalke 04 club magazine, 2007/08 season, 18th edition, March 14, 2008, p. 82) in the Bibliography subpage.
*Delete the "External links" section and put that hyperlink in the External links subpage.
*Also please translate all German text (in the main article and the references) into English since most of us cannot read read German ... and this is an English CZ.
If you want me to do the above first two items for you, please let me know. Milton Beychok 02:37, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
:Milton, I have put in a translation of the articles' titles in the reference and the bibliography parts. I have also added English explanations to the leagues' names at least when first they appear; I take them to be like proper names also to be used in the English language, as I would use Premier League instead of Erste Liga or National Hockey League instead of Nationale Eishockeyliga in German. In the course of time, I am sure, these will all have their own articles, so that we can link there and the explanations will be obsolete. If this assumption is wrong, tell me so and I shall think about another solution.
:Glückaufkampfbahn ("Glückauf" literally translating as "Luck upwards" and being an old greeting among German miners before entering the mine for work, hoping to find ore and come back up again from the mine safely; "Kampfbahn" being an almost obsolete word for a stadium combining a track and field venue with a soccer pitch) is the proper name of the stadium in Gelsenkirchen that I don't think could or should be translated (as I should not translate Rose Bowl Stadium in a German text to become Rosenschüsselstadion.) -- [[User:Elmar J. ::Thanks, Elmar ... you are doing great. I will now leave you on your own. Just remember to create the Definition subpage. Regards, Milton Beychok 18:08, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
Catalogs and Famous players -- another can of worms
I put a See also link on the bottom of the article, as per the one for famous baseball players such as Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle and thought that I would create the new article myself.  But it's more complicated than I remembered.  CZ is in the grip of this mania for "Catalogs", not "Lists", so I guess that *first* there has to be a Soccer article, then there has to be a Soccer/Catalogs article, *THEN* there can be a players article, with a list of famous players, as there is for the baseball players.
But, of course, one problem is that the Soccer article is *actually* Association football (soccer) or some such, with redirects all over the place.  It's all too complicated for me!  Maybe Milton or some Catalog expert could take the time to sort this out....
