Spider-Man is one of Marvel's most successful superheroes; since his first appearance in Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962), he has proven to be one of the most enduring superheroes, featured in comic books, animated cartoons, and feature films. Bitten by a radioactive spider that he obtained his powers from, Spiderman has amazing abilities and can "do what ever a spider can".
