I [https://citizendium.org/wiki/index.php?title=Charles_III&diff=913394&oldid=913389 cut and pasted a reference] from the wikipedia, but this does not require adding attribution to the wikipedia, because, as per [[Feist Publications v. Rural Telephone Service]], list of facts are not protected by copyright, and, I claim a reference is just a list of facts. |

Investiture
Was he really invested in 1958, at age 10? I seem to recall that it happened in the mid-60s, when he was a late teenager (or maybe 20 or so) - the ceremony was held at Caernarvon, and I recall he'd memorized a short speech in Welsh for the occasion (he'd been at university in Wales to help prepare). - You're right! Thanks. According to the official bio he was created Prince of Wales in 1958, but not invested until much later. John Stephenson 05:00, 11 April 2008 (CDT)
Title
Truss referred to him as Charles III in an official statement shortly after the Queen's death. Unsure if this is official but the media seem to be picking up on it. There is supposed to be an official proclamation, however. John Stephenson (talk) 13:13, 8 September 2022 (CDT)
- Update: Clarence House has just confirmed it, so I'm going to move the article. John Stephenson (talk) 13:29, 8 September 2022 (CDT)
