This is the article version that was imported. 00:20 25 April 2007. Russell D. Jones 16:48, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

I wrote three paragraphs in Henry Ford#Early Life; I am the sole author; and I have re-entered them here:

Ford's politics...

I am pretty sure that he supported Harding and Coolidge. There are even pictures of him with Harding during his front porch campaign. I wanted to get the pictures but the Ohio Historical Society has not returned my email. Can someone get an official confirmation?

Ford was a Democrat. Sobel says he "endorsed" Coolidge in 1923 but the quote does not bear out the claim [1] Richard Jensen 04:17, 14 May 2007 (CDT)
That looks like an endorsement to me... Eric Pokorny
Ford ran on the Democratic ticket in the senatorial election of 1918, but his politics have always been debated. If anything he was probably a populist. Russell D. Jones 22:38, 21 October 2011 (UTC)

What's needed?

*This article is much too much WP derived. I urge a wholesale re-write. Russell D. Jones 02:55, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

There is no section dealing with the Henry Ford Company (1899-1903?). This was Ford's first company out of which he was forced when the directors brought in Henry Leland to manage production. The company was renamed Cadillac. started this 02:55, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

No mention of the Dodge Brothers, or Horace Rackham, or James Couzens.

Or the Dodge brothers lawsuit that they brought because of Ford's construction of the River Rouge. This led Ford to buy out all of the minority shareholders.

No mention of the Tribune Lawsuit in which he said "history is more or less bunk."

There's nothing on Ford's alternatives, such as the village industries, soy bean plastics research.

all that can be added. Go to it.  :) Richard Jensen 18:54, 29 December 2007 (CST)
