I have an undergraduate degree in Physics from Carnegie Mellon, in Pittsburgh, PA. I have been a full-time software developer for twenty years, writing code in a variety of languages (C, C++, Java, Perl, Python, various flavors of Bourne shell), mostly on UNIX platforms. I can easily lose track of time while working on something interesting, particularly if it is mathematical.
