Greenland is a very large Island in the Arctic Ocean.
It has been the home to First Nations peoples related to Canada's Inuit for thousands of years.
A colony of Norse adventurers was established on the Southern tip of Greenland at the end of the tenth Century. This colony existed for several generations.
