Its a bit short for the great man - any takers on expanding it? I would, but my knowledge is extremely limited... Denis Cavanagh 11:41, 17 August 2007 (CDT)

Greatest lyric poet?

A bit partisan surely. I would say that Thomas Hardy runs him close, and there might be those who would say that Hardy is better. As for expanding it, my biographical knowledge of Yeats is tiny, and I do not even have his complete works, let alone any knowledge of the critical views. --Martin Wyatt 21:38, 14 December 2012 (UTC)
