Donald Duck
Donald Duck is a cartoon character from The Walt Disney Company. He is an anthropomorphic duck that wears a blue sailor uniform and is known for his furious short temper. Donald is among one of the most famous Disney characters, next to Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Chip & Dale and others. He first appeared in the animated cartoon The Wise Little Hen on June 9, 1934. Because of his popularity, he was developed into a major character with his own supporting characters, for example his girlfriend Daisy Duck, his nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and his uncle Scrooge McDuck.
In 1987 Disney produced a daily cartoon serial called "Ducktales" which focused on Scrooge's inherited responsibility for Donald's nephews while he was on deployment with the military, archetyped as a Navy.
