Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG)

(-)-Epigallocatechin gallate, often called EGCG, is a chemical found in green tea and herbal suppliments which proponents suggest provides healthful benefits. Recent scientific literature has shown it inhibits the formation of amyloid fibrils or agrregates.[1]
