GULF OF MEXICO – Petty Officer 3rd Class Suren Chandrasena, a boatswain’s mate, watches from the side port door as Coast Guard Cutter Bertholf’s Over-The-Horizon small boat departs to receive personnel from Coast Guard Cutter Chandeleur, June 18, 2008. Coast Guard, U.S. Southern Command and Joint Interagency Task Force personnel came onboard Bertholf to tour the Coast Guard’s newest cutter and learn about its capabilities.
