Good additions and editorial choices, Howard! Wondering what else we can add here to improve the article? Stuff about tools?--Thomas Wright Sulcer 15:22, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
There is a tool article with tool/Related Articles, which branch to lots of articles that need more detail. I was thinking of the list of tasks (i.e., Handyman/Catalogs) starting to introduce more detail in the tools, and also materials articles. For example, we have drywall. Drywall screws and nails could go under screw (fastener) and nail (fastener), as well as drywall "screwdriver" (under drill?) and drywall hammer.
As I think about it, that catalog could expand a good deal, both at the D-I-Y level and at the level of master craftsmen. You'll notice I started a few redlink entries that fall under building trades; I realized it was awkward to name an article about "electrical work" but electrician made more sense -- I think. --Howard C.
