Wang Xiaoyun (王小雲) (1966-) is a cryptographer best known for attacks against various hash functions. Her team first broke MD5 and SHA-0. In later papers they were the first to present an attack on SHA-1.

She did both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at Shandong University in her home province and taught there for some years. In 2005, she moved to the Center for Advanced Study, Tsinghua University in Beijing.
