Refers to home automation devices that have internet access such as voice recognition (smart speakers), lighting, keyless door entry, security cameras, sensors (for temperature, motion, water, etc.), on/off switches, thermostats, streaming devices, smoke detectors, robotic vacuum cleaners, etc; home automation is a broader category that includes any device that can be monitored or controlled via wireless radio signals, not just those having internet access.
