Tyndareus [r]: From Greek mythology, he was a king of Sparta, son of Oebalus (or Perieres) and Gorgophone or Bateia, husband of Leda, and father of Helen of Troy, as well as Castor and Polydeuces, Clytemnestra, Timandra, Phoebe, and Philonoe. His wife Leda was seduced by Zeus who disguised himself as a swan.
