HNLMS De Ruyter (1935) [r]: Royal Netherlands Navy World War II light cruiser, sunk, while serving as Adm. Karel Doorman's flagship, in the Battle of the Java Sea and was sunk in the battle of the Java Sea on 28 February 1942.
