Citizens United

Citizens United is an American conservative organization, organized as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit corporation chartered in Virginia. Its stated purpose of "restoring our government to citizens' control" based on "traditional American values of limited government, freedom of enterprise, strong families, and national sovereignty and security".

It was the successful appellant in appellant in the Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission case.

The American Sovereignty Project is its lobbying arm, whose major objectives are "complete U.S. withdrawal from the United Nations, defeat of the treaty to establish a permanent U.N.-controlled International Criminal Court, and rejection of one-world government."
