Khoa Tran (Trần Đăng Khoa in Vietnamese) Ph.D. student in Computational and Applied Mathematics Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences University of Texas at Austin
I'm currently a student of Bjorn Engquist, which reflects my research interest in Numerical Analysis for Partial Differential Equations (PDEs). There are several topics that have concerned me recently:
1. PDEs arise in Fluid Mechanics: existence, uniqueness, regularity, and computation of solutions 2. High Frequency Wave Scattering and Inverse Problems 3. Stochastic Differential Equations, with applications in Finance 4. Mean Field Approach in Differential Games and Asset Pricing
In a broader sense, I'm also interested in Physics, Robotics, Artifical Intelligence, Economics, Politics, Philosophy, Astronomy, History, Soccer, Guitar...
In an even more extreme sense, as a scientist, I'm supposed to be attracted by everything. Fortunately (and unfortunately), I really am.

Welcome to the Citizendium! We hope you will contribute boldly and well. Here are pointers for a quick start, and see Getting Started for other helpful "startup" links, our help system and CZ:Home for the top menu of community pages. You can test out editing in the sandbox if you'd like. If you need help to get going, the forum is one option. That's also where we discuss policy and proposals. You can ask any user or the editors for help, too. Just put a note on their "talk" page. Again, welcome and have fun!
