Perhaps we should somehow sort the webbrowsers? If we have a subheading and two paragraphs on every web browser in active/recent development, we'll have a massive and useless article. Could we sort them by platform, or perhaps by rendering engine? We could do:

Windows browsers
Internet Explorer
Mac browsers
Safari
Linux Browsers
Konqueror
Cross-platform browsers
Opera
Firefox

We also need some sort of rule about which browsers to cover. -- ZachPruckowski (Speak to me) 12:50, 28 February 2007 (CST)

I've added a paragraph about each of the big 4 browsers currently popular, and re-sectioned the remainder of the article into a section for history and for other browsers. I think we should not write about (in this article) "browsers" that are really just skins for other browsers, such as the Avant Browser. I would not sort by OS, as that only makes sense for IE; everything else is now cross-platform. For browsers other than the big four, I'd suggest sorting by rendering engine and date, or maybe just alphabetically. Anthony Argyriou 00:20, 13 June 2007 (CDT)
I've restructured the browser descriptions to sort by rendering engine for modern browsers and date for historical ones, sortof. More work almost certainly needed. I agree about not listing skins on other browsers, but have mentioned a couple as examples. Caesar Schinas 19:07, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
