ANNE HUTCHINSON ARTICLE

Anne Marbury Hutchinson (1591 – 1643) was a Puritan preacher, religious dissident, and feminist. She was banished from the Massachussettes Bay Colony after being put on trial for her religious practices, and she co-founded Rhode Island with Roger Williams.
