Biography:

In 2006 I attained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of the Witwatersrand. I subsequently pursued a postgraduate degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in Palaeontology, which I am currently completing.

I have always held a great interest in history. During my undergraduate studies I chose archaeology, and later palaeontology, as a way of stimulating my interest in human history. My studies have given me the skills and knowledge to be a competent and detail oriented researcher and has allowed me to become accustomed to working under pressure and within the constraints of deadlines. My courses in Archaeology have gained me the practical experience of excavating. My courses in Palaeontology have not only given me a solid knowledge of the scientific field but also the ability to present various topics and debates within the field on Palaeontology.

Apart from studying, I also work part-time at the Sterkfontein Caves in the Cradle of Humankind. Working as a tour guide at Sterkfontein Caves has not only enhanced my knowledge in Archaeology and Palaeontology, but has further stimulated my interests in these subjects and has allowed me to nurture my passion for human and cultural history.

I am currently completing my postgraduate degree in Palaeontology and hope to pursue a career in this field.
