I did a basic grammar edit on this article by adding the A.M. degree earned by Dr. Liberman. I used the reference website http://www.haskins.yale.edu/staff/aml.html to find the information about where he received his A.M. I had never heard of an A.M. or an A.B., but after doing a bit of searching, it appears that these two terms mean Bachelor of Arts degree and Masters of Arts degree. Why they are not listed as BA and MA, I don't know, but several universities listed their Bachelor's degree in such a manner. One college, the College of Charleston (http://www.cofc.edu/~classics/ab_degree.html), listed their AB as an Artium Baccalaureatus degree. However, it appears that AB and AM are most commonly accepted as a Bachelor's degree and Master's degree
