Pearl River

The Pearl River is a large river in Southern China. It empties into the South China Sea. The port cities of Hong Kong, Canton and Macau are on the River's estuary.
The river's upper reaches are the site of large hydroelectric projects like the Longtam Dam.[1][2][3][4]
