Ngo Dinh Thuc (-1984) was a brother of Ngo Dinh Diem, who became a Catholic priest, and, during Diem's government, was Archbishop of Hue. He was a key linkage between Diem and influential members of the U.S. Catholic hierarchy, such as Francis Cardinal Spellman, and laity, such as the Kennedy family.

In later years, Thuc was excommunicated twice for consecrating bishops without Vatican permission. [1]
